I came close to a ghost
I lay down beside it
and the wide, open air tightened
I lay my hand on the sweat of his head on my chest
and the minutes, they stretched

The figure in the floral dress,
I feel her standing in the alley way
long after we all swore she'd left

I didn't want to believe what I saw,
they've come to his house to knock down his door
Because for a moment I had him alone,
now they'll shake the world from its core

He put his hands up in front of my eyes
I didn't know what to do, I apologized
He scoffed and took my mouth one last time

Then everything burst into impossibility,
